Configure P4 Search and its services

P4 Search is configured during installation, as described in Configure P4 Search for the first time. After the initial configuration, you can update the configuration by accessing the web UI or by editing a local configuration file. See Update the P4 Search configuration.

You must have admin permissions to configure P4 Search.

P4 Search must be configured to:

  • View the Service Status page in the P4 Search web UI.

  • Configure services from the Configuration page in the P4 Search web UI.
