Thumbnail/Preview generation
This section details the file types for which P4 Search can generate thumbnails/previews.
Thumbnails/previews are only generated by P4 Search if it is configured to generate them.
To enable thumbnail/preview generation, set the com.perforce.p4search.index.thumbnail configurable to true in the indexer config.properties file. Alternatively, to enable thumbnail/preview generation using the P4 Search web UI, see Indexer configuration.

Render: If P4 Search supports rendering for an asset file type, P4 Render positions camera and lighting for the 3D object, and generates a rendered 2D preview image and a 3D GLB model.

Texture: If P4 Search supports texture files for an asset type and a texture file is versioned with the asset file, P4 Render will add the texture to the preview image and the GLB model.
