p4 logrotate
Synopsis
Rotate one or more structured log files.
Syntax
p4 [g-opts
] logrotate [-l
logname
]
Description
The p4 logrotate
command rotates the named logfile, or rotates
all structured logs if the -l logname
option is not supplied.
If the relevant configurables are set, structured log files
automatically rotate when they grow to
serverlog.maxmb.
megabytes in length, and the past
n
serverlog.retain.
log files are preserved.
n
By default, structured logs have no maximum size limit, and automatically rotate only on checkpointing and journaling events.
