Configure end user permissions

You can follow the instructions in the video at Configuring Permissions with P4Admin or skip the video and follow the instructions below.

  1. In Perforce Helix Admin, click the Permissions tab.

  2. Set Access Level to write, set User/Group to group, set Name to testers, and click Save Edits.

    where the Folder/File column has the default //..., which means all folders and files.

  3. Click the Groups tab, and verify that the group has the correct access level (write).

Important

For simplicity, this example shows an easy way to configure access to all folders and files. However, you can assign different users different access levels, and you can specify which folders and files each user or group can access.
